Biography: Mr. Shwartz has been a Los Angeles criminal defense attorney for over 30 yrs. His ability, fluency and proficiency of criminal law is reflected by the respect he has garnered from his fellow criminal defense, prosecuting attorneys as well as judges. As a criminal defense attorney, Mr. Schwartz is actively interested in upholding the standards and practices of criminal law. He is the Recipient of the President's Special Award for defending death penalty cases. He lectures at criminal defense seminars on gang evidence. Mr. Shwartz challenges evidence derived from roadblocks, and wiretap evidence. It is also worth noting that he is an active member of the Criminal Justice Section of the American Bar association where the mission is to improve the criminal justice system and to serve its members, the profession and the public.
