In the city of Indianapolis, Judge entered not guilty pleas for three men that I've been charged with murder. The killing occurred during a shootout at a birthday cookout which led to the death of two people and injuries of six others.
The defendants, Damion Martin, Devin Staten and Antwan Williams were charged with attempted murder and conspiracy to commit murder. They are currently being held in Marion County Jail without bail.
Among those killed were Charles Mays' son who died just after midnight on August 3rd when a masked individual fired an assault rifle at the people attending the party. The 93-year-old father said that he hopes the three men "never get out of jail."
The host of the party, 37-year-old Barbara Johnson, died after suffering a gunshot to the chest.
