In Durham, New Hampshire, a man from Exeter was charged with child pornography. According to reports, 67 year old Phillip Burbank had downloaded illicit images of children onto a computer at the University of New Hampshire Library.
Burbank, who is a registered sex offender, was arrested by police on Monday. His arrest occurred two days after the staff at Dimond Library reported that a man on a public computer terminal was downloading naked images of children.
In 1995, Burbank was convicted of possessing child pornography. He is not affiliated with the library and was released on bail after his latest arrest. Police say he is scheduled to appear in court later in the month of July.
