Teenage Girl Molested on Bus

This week, police arrested a man in Orange county who allegedly molested a teenage girl who was riding the bus.  Police say the man, 48 year old James Norkin, was arrested after the received reports that the girl had been touched inappropriately.

Norkin was detained by police for violating his parole because he never registered his residence after being convicted of prior sex crimes.  After his arrest, he was sent to state prison in Chino.

A spokes person from the Orange County Sheriff's Department said, "On the ride to Laguna Niguel, Norkin sat next to the girls and touched one of them in a sexual manner."  The girl was riding with two other females who were below the age of 15 on the Orange County Transportation Authority.
