Area Woman Reports Domestic Violence to Police
Police in South Los Angeles used unconventional means to enter a home where domestic violence was reported last Saturday night. A woman called 911 after her boyfriend became aggressive and pulled a gun on her.
The man refused to leave the house when officers asked him to, which led to a five-hour standoff during the early hours of the morning. A local SWAT team was eventually called in; they resolved to using the water cannon at around 5 AM on the suspect. The suspect, whose identity has yet to be released to the public, was booked on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon. There were no injuries reported for the woman.
