DUI Offender Causes Victim to Suffer Head Injury

In Spring Valley, it has been reported that one man was seriously injured and another was placed under arrest for suspicion of DUI. According to the California Highway Patrol, the injury and arrests occurred after a car crashed into a pickup truck.

Police say that 33-year-old Colin Eisner had been driving northbound on State Route 125 near the Jamacha Boulevard at approximately 11 AM on Saturday. His vehicle then crashed into a Toyota Tacoma.

The pickup truck rolled numerous times before landing on its side at the road's center divider.  The car proceeded to roll down and an embankment, crashed into a fence and then came to a stop on Samantha Lane.

One officer reported that the driver of the truck had to be hospitalized with major head trauma.
