This week, it has been reported that singer Vince Neil of the band Motley Crue has pleaded guilty to DUI.  As a result, Neil will have to serve two weeks of jail time for his arrest which occurred in Las Vegas. This recent deal will be submitted to the court on January 26, 2011 for approval.

Neil is currently participating in "Skating with the Stars" and he announced his sobriety just one week before his arrest on June 27th.  Now, he plans to plead guilty to misdemeanor driving under the influence and will start serving his jail sentence on February 15 th according to the district attorney's office.

Neil said in a statement, "I have recognized that you can't drink and drive at all."  In 1984, Neil pleaded guilty to driving under the influence and vehicular manslaughter.  He had to serve 20 days in prison and also paid $2.5 million in restitution following the accident that killed his friend Nicholas Dingley.
