Head of Drug Ring Taken into Police Custody
The alleged head of a cocaine and marijuana drug distribution ring has been taken into custody this week and officials are now able to cross him off of their most-wanted list.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department and the U.S. Marshals Service, the 45-year-old male was apprehended this week in San Fernando Valley. He was taken into custody with no incidence. However, another suspect that was present fled the scene and is still wanted by the authorities.
In addition to the most current drug crime charges against him, the suspect has a long list of criminal activities that dates back to 1981. He has been arrested for robbery, attempted murder and
assault with a deadly weapon.
