Double-Murder Suspect Taken into Custody
A double-murder suspect was finally taken into custody after nearly 100 officers were dispatched to locate him in Encino, California.
Officers first spotted the suspect outside of a grocery store, where they attempted to arrest him. However, the man was not ready to be taken into custody and fired at the officers instead. He then managed to get away, prompting an hours-long search that involved dozens of officers.
They worked together to block off a square-mile area in which they believed he was hiding. Police officers then went door-to-door, with the help of police dogs, to track him down. The 43-year-old suspect was finally located and arrested for the murder of a couple in their own home. The two victims were discovered in trash cans outside of their house on August 12th, prompting police to being investigations.
