Bob Schwartz
Bob Schwartz has been a Los Angeles criminal defense attorney for 36 years. In 2012, Mr. Schwartz was honored as the Criminal Defense Attorney of the Year by the Los Angeles County Bar Association.
Mr. Schwartz’s ability, fluency and proficiency of criminal law is reflected by the respect he has garnered from his fellow criminal defense attorneys, prosecuting attorneys and judges. Mr. Schwartz has distinguished himself as a leader among Los Angeles criminal defense attorneys. Mr. Schwartz has handled some of the most high profile, complex and challenging criminal cases in Los Angeles.
Mr. Schwartz served as the Chair of the Los Angeles County Bar Association’s Indigent Criminal Defense Appointment Program, and is a Member of the Los Angeles County Bar Executive Committee. He was the former President of the Los Angeles Criminal Courts Bar Association, and is a member of the California Attorneys for Criminal Justice, the Inns of Court, Los Angeles Section, and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
Mr. Schwartz is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison (1973), and Southwestern University School of Law (1976). Mr. Schwartz’s practice is dedicated entirely to criminal law.
